Avec west loop has been a Chicago favourite for almost 20 years. Conceived initially as a wine bar, avec is the second concept from celebrated one-off hospitality. While wine remains at Avec’s core, chef de cuisine Dylan Patel’s rustic menu features ingredients from valued local purveyors for weekend brunch, lunch Monday through Friday and dinner service seven days a week. The wine list, while extensive, remains moderately priced and draws primarily from boutique vineyards in southwestern Europe.
